This is great for little ones who like to use their hands to self soothe. It’s nice and light weight so I can still have her in footed pajamas overnight. Must have washed this at least 20 times and it stayed in good shape before she grew out of it. Got her the next size up and will continue to use these.Saw some had issues with the zipper. I had 0 issues with it. I don’t have the need for a double zipper with this so that was never an issue. I wash this on a regular wash cycle with cold water and Dreft. No holes where the zipper is and I always wash it with the zipper open. Worth the money to have a safe sleep option for the baby.This is the second Harry Potter Halo Sleepsack I have purchased. The first one I bought in size Medium started to tear on the little fabric flap that lays over the zipper at the top of the sack, by the baby's neck. The other Halo sleepsack I had didn't do this so I thought it was just a fluke. Then it came time to size up and I wanted the HP sack again so I purchased a size Large. Less than a month in, the little fabric flap on this one is ripping too! Again, the other Halo sack I have doesn't do this.It seems like the fabric used for the Harry Potter sleepsacks is a little bit thinner and not quite as soft. So the thinner fabric rubbing up against the zipper head must be causing the rips. Very disappointing for this to happen for the price of these sacks!We've always loved halo sleepsacks and have used them for all four of our children. I was unimpressed with the size small that I ordered recently. The neck opening is too large, so our baby could wiggle and get extra fabric over her face. She's a few days shy of 8 months old, so she's in the 6-12 month age range for the size small. She's an average sized baby. I would like to see a more snug fit around the neck opening to ensure a safer sleep environment. For this reason, we have decided not to use it.Nice fit with the size guide and it’s the perfect summer sleep sack for older babiesThis is a well-made sleepsack. The zipper begins at the bottom edge. It has a nice closure at the top to protect a child’s neck/jaw. The Harry Potter symbols printed on the fabric are just what I wanted for my grandchild. It’s lightweight & perfect for sleeping. It could be softer, but I believe it will soften up once I wash it. I’d buy another if something happened to it. Wish I’d bought it sooner! Thanks!Our 5-month old is comfy and cozy in this at night. Like a blanket but safer. We love this Sleep Sack!If you’ve used other halo products you’ll know what you’re getting. Good quality, good fit, good sleep. I’d call them mid-weight, they aren’t super light but obviously not as heavy as the fleece sleep sacks.My baby sleeps very comfortably at night and It fits great with room to grow as well. Overall I like the product.This material is very thin (TOG 0.5) and perfect for hot summer nights. I like that it’s made out of 100% cotton and it’s breathable. I also appreciate how the zipper ends at the bottom for a quick diaper change in the middle of the night. It’s not bamboo or anything but still pretty soft and stretchy. I especially recommend getting to when it’s on sale!Highly recommend the halo sleepsacks! The material is so soft and my son seems very comfortable. We used to use the style with Velcro to swaddle, but this one is much more convenient now that he has outgrown being swaddled. We will continue to buy the halo sleepsacks as he grows out of them! Added bonus: the super cute prints!I have 2 medium size (6-12 months) and my daughter is 9 months about to grow out of them. However she’s in 9-12 or 12-18 month clothes so it’s very true to size. That being said I find the material has worn out pretty quickly, she alternates between 3 sleep-sacks these last 2 months and her Halo ones have worn out around the zipper at her top and started to get kind of frayed around the edges! All around keeps her warm and cozy and not sure if other brands have a similar issue. I would have liked to keep them for future babies but honestly not sure they’ll make it that long lol.Got these sleep sacks for my twins as I wanted something light weight for the summer which they are. However the zippers are so cheap and horrible. They just split right open and don’t stay closed. I have other Halo sacks and they have such nice heavy duty zippers compared to these flimsy little things. I can’t even return because I washed these and threw away the packages. I do not recommend.We love Halo products, but the zipper on this SleepSack is very hard to use. Sometimes you struggle and fight with it to catch and by the time you can zip it closed you’ve woken the baby and you have to start the process all over again.
