I have received multiple compliments on this coat. I actually had someone stop me on the street to ask if it was a Halo coat...it is very stylish. One of the things I like is when you are walking in a rain storm with the hood up it makes a very relaxing sound (I know that sounds strange but it is true).didnt look right on my slender body, and the climate i was in would make me use this less. That said, the style is awesome, and its long, so tall people like me appreciate things like that. There is a quilt type material inside and the exterior is some sort of plastic/rubber coating... very strange to the touch, but HIGH quality. if you live in snow, and like a military/game look, this would be the right product for youLove this jacket. I have gotten so many complements from it that its not funny. It is fairly rain resistant, i live on the Oregon Coast and we get rain 300 days a year and so far i have felt dry and warm wearing this. Did a wet test before use by turning on the shower and putting my arm in the stream and it got tired long before the water was thinking to get through. My only complaint is its cotton so that makes the waterproofing very important as in the cold cotton kills. Be sure to stick to your size as well i got a large but normally get a med and i wish i did but i can live with the large.The only thing I don't like about it is the shape of the hood... it was made to resemble Master Chief's helm, but doesn't sit up on the head to make that appearance and instead the 2 parts that stick out obstruct your view if you put the hood up without sipping the coat up all the way.I'm female and have loved Halo since the Original Xbox. I ordered this in XS with some trepidation, expecting itto be awkward and bulky on my 5'4" frame. While it is thick and substantial, I actually look halfway decent in it! It's of very high quality and will serve me well this winter. I may also order one for my husband. :DHigh quality work, fits great and looks great with most other things I wear! Living in New England and having worn it outside just as it's getting cold I can tell you already that this thing keeps me warm!
