For the price this is a great figure when considering the paint detail on both the Chief and his weapons but I can't really give this a full five stars for a few reasons. Sure he has a lot of points of articulation but none of that matters when you can't get him to stand on his own. The only "action" stance I was able to get was having him stand straight up with him reaching back for his assault rifle with a slight twist in his waist, which you'd think was so he'd look like he was about to go check something out in that direction but I had to do it to counter the weight of his arm being raised. Definitely recommend getting a figure stand for him for any type of displaying, even if he's balancing himself since he topples over easy. For a few bucks extra I would have paid for a stand that plugs into his feet even to be honest. The other issue is that there is no real way to get him to hold his guns like it shows on the pictures on the box. His hand isn't really accepting of holding either weapon in a way that looks realistic so both of them got stuck onto his body. For the price this is a great figure to either play with or display, just wish there was more ways to balance him.This is a Christmas present for my son and it looks awesome so far. I've been collecting McFarlane figures for many years and I'm never disappointed so I'm sure it'll be great. I'm waiting till he unwraps it and actually playes with it to make sure everything is as fine as it looks. If so, then I will give the the five stars I'm sure it deserves. :)Update 5/17/17:It's everything my son hoped and dreamed for, lol. But seriously this was his favorite christmas present. (Even over the new 3DS, wow!) It looks amazing and moves nice and easy but still rigid enough that Master Chief says where you put him. My son takes him everywhere, (because M.C likes to go on adventures too haha), and sleeps with him next to his pillow. This is an amazing product and I definitely recommend! :)It's an awesome looking figure and fits well on my Halo shelf. The Mjolnir armor is very detailed and the limbs can be moved for posing.Cons:-It's smaller than expected. My Tali'Zorah Bishoujo from the Bioware store is bigger and taller than the Chief figure.-The weapons were made to just be attached to the body. I don't think it's possible for him to be holding the Assault Rifle or Pistol. That, or I haven't tried hard enough.-Even though his limbs can be moved for custom posing, they've VERY limited in just how much they can move.It looks great and is a nice addition to my collection I do wish it was a bit larger it’s the smallest figure out of all the ones I haveI'm unhappy that this did turn out to be the model they said it was going to be. I bought one of the other characters from the game and it was the bigger model. I wanted Master Chief because it was supposed to be a gift for my husband who is such a huge fan of the game. This is disappointing and unfortunately I don't have time to return this, get the refund, and get him the right one in time for my family's Christmas celebration. We celebrate early due to convenience, but just so you know. This is not the same as what they show in the product details or product photos.It was to be “The coolest gift” to my Dad Now it looks like I went to goodwill. I expect to not be charged 20% restocking fee for this piece of crap. I did read all the information THAT is why I was willing to pay such a high price. Not for second hand junk.Only downfall is the item was not the size it said it would be. I thought I was getting the big model because it stated it was that tall. However, that was how tall the box was.Good detail and better articulation that you might expect from a Mcfarlane figure. Ratcheted joints make sure that you wont have problems with looseness. The only real complaint is that the index finger is connected to the rest of the hand so without cutting the finger doesn't fit on to the weapons very well.Mi hijo de 7 años le agradó mucho. Tiene acabados tipo “battle damaged”. Claro que mi hijo extravió las armas a las 48 hrs pero es de esperarse.Muy buen detalle, articulaciones rigidas. La movilidad de las piernas podria ser mejor ya que es complicado dejar una postura estable y tiende a caer.Llego envuelto en cartón pero llego en buen estado ?Súper juguete para la colección, excelentes detalles y articulaciones, gran pieza para verdaderos coleccionistas y fans de HaloNice product, nothing bad to say about it.
